Survey Opportunity:

Preventing Drug Vial Wastage and Reducing Expenditure Associated with Injectable Cancer Drugs

Dear Colleague

Global expenditure on cancer drugs has increased substantially over recent years. We are currently conducting a project to determine what strategies are being used globally to reduce drug wastage from partially used drug vials, what barriers are in place that may prevent these strategies from being employed, and what savings can be achieved. You have been chosen to participate because you are an oncology pharmacy practitioner and member of the International Society of Oncology Pharmacy Practitioners (ISOPP).

Your responses will be anonymous, and the survey will take about 10-15 minutes to complete.

We hope that you will participate in this important survey as, with your assistance, the findings will be used to guide oncology pharmacists in establishing appropriate strategies to reduce drug vial wastage and achieve considerable cost savings in their respective countries.

The survey will be open until February 2, 2021 and can be accessed using this link.

Thank you for your valuable assistance.
